Elder Johnson's latest

Sent: Monday, October 08, 2007 8:56 AM Subject: conference oct. 2007 Hello family! Conference was absolutely amazing!!! It was basically a Christmas present! I seriously only fell asleep once and I was anxious the entire time because I knew it was going to be over soon. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought of dad and austin in the tabernacle/visitors center. (mostly about ribs... but i got pizza no worries...) im so thankful for a modern day prophet and twelve apostles! what a blessing to here them. here are my favorites... I really loved elder Ballard this conference, I like his talk on sat. afternoon about giving a little info. To others about the church, and how the church blesses our lives. Really cool talk. Joseph B. Wirthlin was awesome! he could barely stand but he didn’t miss a syllable of his talk. My fav. Part of that was how he said or quoted… “The grand key of happiness for the next world is, “love one another”” Elder Holland takes the cake though. I LOVED his talk about the nature of the godhead!! I am ALLWAYS teaching people that! Nobody undstands it, esp. because 90% of all Spanish people are catholic. They are so confused. This talk was the coolest Henry b. eyrings talk was awesome about personal revelation and how it comes to us. Way cool stuff. Well what else … im still in ridgewood I do believe I told you that. My comps name is elder Hansen he has been in the field for 6 months. Hes is a gamer. Way cool guy were going to do really well. I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t say I miss elder warr really really bad. We worked sooo hard and did so well. im excited though were going to have fun. I now have 6 elders in my district and so I have a little more resposabilidad and also a lot more oportunidad to get this area really rolling!!! I really like this branch the members are cool. Well not much is going on here same old same old… our 3 baptismal commits didn’t show up to church (its 2 days long I mean cmon!!!) so im a little stressed because we have to bump their date back a little… oh well lots of work to do. Love you all hope you enjoyed conference like I did. Talk to you next week. - andy
